Fantastic stay with amazing canal views!

The breakfast buffet offered a large variety of options and also included an a la carte menu with delicious choices! I got upgraded to room 911 upon arrival. The front desk staff noticed my birthday. The room had a fantastic view of the canal, marina, and even the Burj Khalifa. I enjoyed the outdoor pool. It had cool water and overlooked the canal and Burj Khalifa.
Hot water took a while, and the shower water drained slowly!

Staff members provided super service, and they were all very friendly. The front desk staff was observant, noticing my birthday and upgrading my room. That was a special, appreciated touch.

the hotel provided convenient access to dubai mall and burj khalifa, approximately a 20-minute walk. i found the breakfast buffet excellent. the hotel bar and restaurants, featured live music and excellent cuisine. they were positioned along the canal, a welcome spot for relaxation amid the lively cityscape.
i noticed that the gym equipment was a little dated.

the front desk staff were very observant! they upgraded my room to 911 after seeing my passport showed it was my birthday. i got a cool outdoor pool overlooking the canal, and i could see the burj khalifa too. it was a short taxi ride to the mall, convenient.
the room wasn't soundproof, so i heard neighbors talking and showering. the air con was also quite loud.

The breakfast area was quite chaotic. it seemed understaffed. Tables remained uncleared for extended periods, and the buffet lines were often congested. this made it difficult to relax and enjoy a meal. the overall maintenance appears to be slipping.. i noticed some wear and tear in the room, specifically chipped paint and some loose fixtures. these small details detract from the expected quality.
